Remi is loyal, playful and just a little mischievous - his name comes from remedy, because even when things go wrong, calm thinking and care can make things right again.

Together they learn how to stay calm, recognise when something isn't quite right and get help when it truly counts.

Through story-led adventures, children build confidence alongside characters they genuinely trust.

The Real Heart Behind The Story - Pug & Kaiser

Aidie & Remi™ is inspired by two extraordinary dogs - Pug and Kaiser.

Pug was affectionate, playful and full of character. He filled our home with warmth, laughter and unconditional love.

Kaiser was calm, intelligent and quietly protective. His steady presence brought reassurance, strength and loyalty in its purest form.

They were not just pets - they were family. They were the very best of friends. Inseparable in spirit, different in personality, but completely devoted to one another.

Losing them left a space that words struggle to fill. We weren't ever going to be ready to say goodbye. Pug lived an amazing 12 years and we lost Kaiser to cancer at an astounding 11 years old.

Bringing them back together through this book is more than storytelling.. It is our way of honouring their bond, preserving their friendship and keeping their spirit alive in something that continues to help others.

Their love lives on in every chapter, every adventure, every page.

Meet Kai & Patch

From those real memories came Kai & Patch.

Patch carries Pug's playful heart - loyal, affectionate and sometimes a little silly.

Kai reflects Kaiser's wisdom - calm, steady and thoughtful. When things feel overwhelming, he pauses, observes and shows others how to respond with confidence instead of fear.

In real life, their friendship was something special. They balanced each other perfectly- energy and steadiness, mischief and reassurance. They were the best of friends.

Bringing Kai and Patch to life means bringing that bond back together again - side by side - guiding children through moments that matter.

Through every adventure, they teach young readers how to stay calm, act bravely and look after the dogs they love.

Together, Kai & Patch are helping to raise a new generation of Dog Heroes - children who know what to do and who believe they can make a difference.
